Absolutely amazing! After spending $200 for a geeks2u, unable to solve the problem, he wanted another $200 since it would be a new session. Xander was able to work hard to sort out my problem of being unable to open my laptop with Windows. Mostly unable to fix, he worked hard to solve it. I had an old computer examined by this company aware that the machine may be beyond its reasonable life. Repair options were explained clearly varying from the simple to complicated.  Fortunately only a simple repair was required and the service was performed very promptly. I highly recommend Computer Mechanics. They repaired my Lenovo laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor that was only two years old. Another repair shop had told me that the motherboard was dead and that my only option was to buy a new laptop. Instead of telling me to replace it, Computer Mechanics carefully checked the laptop, confirmed that the motherboard could be replaced, and repaired it. The total cost was AUD $580, including the motherboard replacement, and they also made sure all of my files were recovered. They even provided a 3-month warranty, which gave me a lot of confidence. Buying a similar laptop in Australia would have cost me around AUD $1,700–2,000, so they saved me a significant amount of money. As an international student, I truly appreciate that they found a repair solution instead of simply recommending a replacement. The only areas I think could be improved are the turnaround time and handling of customers' devices. My repair took a little over two weeks, and when I collected my laptop, I noticed some scratches on the lid that were not there before. I believe taking a little more care with customers' laptops would make an already good service even better. Overall, I am very happy with the result. My laptop is working perfectly again, all of my files were saved, and I am very grateful to the team. Computer Mechanics did a brilliant job. I needed a new screen on my laptop plus requested a second NVMe drive installed (supplied by me). It was all completed perfectly and in a very timely manner. I was very impressed and will use them next time when I need their services. The price was very good too, many other "computer repair"places would have charge a lot more. I can't recommend them highly enough.
