Suburbs serviced
We’re actually located in East Perth, so the Perth CBD, South Perth, West Perth, Victoria Park, Subiaco and Osborne Park are all within a stone’s throw. Chances are good that we can repair your computer the same day you break it.
We do a daily run through the western suburbs, ie Wembley, Floreat, Nedlands, Claremont, Cottesloe and Mosman Park, all the way to Fremantle, cleaning up virus and spyware issues along the way – they’re usually same day repairs also.
We do carry computer parts in the vehicles but certain hardware issues like notebook power supplies and broken screens will need workshop attention. In this case we take the PC back to East Perth then return it. There is no call out fee when we return the computer.
We also have a route that includes the northern parts of Perth, it runs from Joondalup and Wanneroo, then Hillarys through to Greenwood and Karrinyup, across to Dianella and Mount Lawley.
If you live in a more remote suburb, like Kwinana, Rockingham, Mundaring, Armadale, Kalamunda (or anywhere in the hills for that matter) we are quite prepared to send someone out especially. The first half hour will cost around $130 alternately workshop inspection with no callout is $55. However, if your computer problem is very quickly fixed we will use the balance of the half hour to do useful maintenance, for instance, cleaning up your hard drive, helping you sort out your email or giving you some software training.

Net filter deferredWell if we can't get common sense at least we can get a deferral. Senator Conroy's Filter, the populist censorship tactic that was never going to work has been put back a year, creating the possibility it may be canned. Blocking of child porn sites is being done by Optus & Telstra, just as happens in other markets. More here. |

DefragHere's a Screen Saver that actually does something useful. Defrags your hard disk while you're not using your PC. Pauses when you start using the PC and re-starts when the PC's idle again. Sensible. Free. Via the excellent Kim Komando. |

Symantec gaffPoor old Symantec. They put together a site to warn people about computer security during the World Cup and failed to properly protect their own web site from spammers, exposing visitors to risk. Now fixed. How embarrassing. Source. |
